Joe Flacco is a former American football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for several years. He attended the University of Pittsburgh and played college football for the Pitt Panthers. During his time at Pitt, Flacco set numerous school records and was named the MVP of the 2008 International Bowl.
Flacco was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the first round of the 2008 NFL Draft, where he played for ten seasons before being traded to the Denver Broncos in 2019. He led the Ravens to victories in Super Bowl XLVII and was named the game's MVP. Flacco has been selected to one Pro Bowl and holds several Ravens franchise records, including most passing yards, most touchdown passes, and most completions in a season.
Flacco's time at Pitt helped establish him as a top quarterback prospect in the NFL Draft, and his success in the league has cemented his place as one of the best quarterbacks of his generation.
